If you’re looking for a delicious, down home Southern buffet in the capital city, look no further than Pearl’s Southern Cooking, located at 3503 Terry Road in South Jackson.

The pre-pay buffet is a local favorite and dubbed, “the place where food is seasoned with grace.” With a slogan like that, the food is sure to be tasty.

Jackson locals have been hitting Pearl’s buffet for several years now, and there’s a reason people come back for more.

The buffet comes loaded with fresh food with items ranging from fresh fish to fried chicken, pork chops, Salisbury steak and any Southern staple you can imagine. Sides range from sweet corn, green beans, mac and cheese, greens, dressing, black-eyed peas, cornbread, rolls, rice and gravy, and more. A salad bar is also available, and, of course, a Southern dessert bar to finish off your meal – if you have room for more, that is. The menu changes each day slightly, but no matter which day you choose to stop by, traditional Southern food is always on the list.

Pearl’s is the perfect stop for a hearty, Southern lunch, and being that it’s a buffet, it’s the ideal way to fill up on your favorite entrees and sides.

Pearl’s is open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday and is closed on Saturdays.
