Having been open for just over a year now, Cantina Laredo at the District at Eastover is serving up authentic and modern Mexican cuisine and delicious drinks. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic fajita dinner or Chilean sea bass, Cantina Laredo has something on their menu for everyone.

Cantina Chorizo Con Huevos for brunch

Like most Mexican restaurants, chips and salsa are complementary to your table, and there are even two salsa options, a mild and a spicy. Of course, table-side guacamole is available, as well as several different queso options like Chili Con Queso or Queso Blanco. If you find yourself at Cantina Laredo for lunch, a daily lunch menu is available until 3 p.m., and it includes dishes like Crispy Carnitas Bowl, Salmon, and several taco combo options. There’s also a specialty dish for each week day that you can choose from, too.

Cantina Casa Ritas

For dinner, kick things off with a Casa Rita, frozen or on the rocks. You can even get a frozen margarita swirled with strawberry, pomegranate, mango, or passion fruit flavors. Other drinks range anywhere from Cantina Mojito to Blood Orange Sangria. Whether you’re in the mood for tequila or wine, Cantina has options for everyone.

When it comes to the main course for dinner, Cantina’s menu ranges everywhere from salads to tacos to combination dinners, where you get a little bit of everything to taste. Tapas include tamales, nachos, and quesadillas, and taco options range from steak fajita to barbacoa to pescado. The taco options are endless and they are all delicious. Under the Especialdades (specialty) section, you can find dishes like the Pollo Asada, a roasted half chicken with grilled street corn and black beans, and Carnitas, braised pork shanks with smoky chipotle wine sauce. Combination dinners are perfect when you can’t decide on just one delicious dish. The Cancun Combo includes a ground sirloin enchilada, a chicken enchilada, and a crispy beef taco. The Acapulco Combo comes with a beef tamale, a chicken enchilada, a cheese enchilada, and a crispy beef taco, and the Puerto Vallarta Combo comes with a skirt steak taco, a chicken enchilada, and a cheese enchilada. These are perfect combo dinners to share or have all for yourself.

Finish off lunch or dinner with Churros, Mexican Apple Pie, Tres Leches, or a Tres Chocolate Brownie… or finish with another drink. Either way, you won’t leave hungry or thirsty after a trip to Cantina Laredo.

For the weekend warriors, Cantina Laredo also offers weekend brunch. Brunch offerings feature mimosas and Bloody Marias, made with Casa Noble organic tequila. Menu items include classic brunch favorites with a modern Mexican twist, such as Crab Cakes Benedict; Huevos Rancheros, a traditional egg dish topped with ranchero and tomatillo sauce; and Asada y Huevos, grilled steak and eggs with onions and chimichurri sauce.
